Fluence participates in Photonics West 2022

Between the 25^th -27^th of January, we had the pleasure to participate in one of the most important events for the photonics industry – Photonics West 2022 in San Francisco, organized by SPIE. It was a great opportunity once again to present our femtosecond lasers based on the unique Fluence fiber technology to a wider audience throughout the three days of this inspiring exhibition. More importantly, Photonics West 2022 was the long-awaited chance to meet live with our clients and partners, for which we are thankful.

We are also proud to announce that the new feature of our flagship product – Jasper Flex – had its premiere at the event. Listening to the needs and requirements of our customers, we designed a solution that allows installing Jasper Flex vertically on its side. Thanks to this functionality, the compact version of our most powerful laser, Jasper X0, takes up even less space, and it’s much easier to integrate it with an existing system! This was possible thanks to the fiber construction of the laser. As the laser light is confined inside the core of the fiber, it cannot misalign, bringing more flexibility to the mounting position.

Photonics West 2022 was also a day of another premiere. We presented for the first time Halite 2 – the next generation of the Halite series. Halite 2 is a compact femtosecond laser for multiphoton microscopy and 2-photon polymerization, with a pulse energy of more than 100 nJ and over 2 W of average power.  Moreover, a single-box design makes Halite 2 is the smallest laser in its class. All thanks to the unique fiber technology.
