Michał Nejbauer, CEO, in the Finals of the UW Entrepreneur of the Year Contest!

We are honored and delighted to announce that our CEO, Michał Nejbauer, has made it to the finals of the Entrepreneur of the Year contest, in the category: ”Innovator / Innovation of the Year”, organized by the University of Warsaw!

The University of Warsaw Innovator of the Year contest is an annual event aimed at recognizing entrepreneurs, employees, alumni, doctoral candidates, and students of the university. This year’s edition marks the seventh iteration of the contest, with previous winners including notable companies such as Creotech Instruments and CD PROJEKT.

“I am extremely pleased that the Polish photonics industry is beginning to gain more recognition. The University of Warsaw is a cradle of exceptionally well-educated engineers who have been forming the Fluence team for years, implementing increasingly competitive laser solutions on the global market. I am proud that the contest committee has decided to highlight our company in such an important category as Innovator of the Year,” said Michał Nejbauer.

The University of Warsaw Entrepreneur of the Year contest comprises several categories: Master of Business, Social Entrepreneur, Innovation / Innovator of the Year, Corporate Entrepreneur, and UW Start-up of the Year.

The final gala of the contest will take place on Friday, May 28th, where the official results of the contest will be announced.
