Sales Manager DACH and APAC
As a Sales Manager for DACH and APAC, you will expand and strengthen our customer network in German-speaking territories and APAC while managing relationships with partners. You’ll also play a key role in breaking into new market segments.
Every day, you’ll help push the boundaries of industrial processing and scientific discovery by bringing a new generation of ultrafast lasers to industrial and research customers. Our clients are passionate about the latest advancements in laser and optoelectronic technologies—and you should be too.
In this role, you’ll directly contribute to the company’s growth, working within the sales team alongside an open-minded management and a dynamic team of engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers,
- Identify and pursue new leads, key accounts, and market opportunities,
- Manage and support distributors, ensuring alignment with sales objectives,
- Oversee the sales process, including quotations, tenders, and contract negotiations,
- Provide exceptional customer service and after-sales support,
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine sales strategies,
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, finance, product) to drive growth,
- Organize and participate in trade fairs, conferences, and industry events,
- Maintain CRM records, track performance, and report key sales metrics,
- Travel to DACH, APAC, and Poland (>25% of the time) to meet customers and partners.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in capital equipment sales, preferably lasers.
- Fluent English (German and other languages are a plus).
- Strong knowledge of DACH and/or APAC markets and femtosecond laser customers.
- Valid EU driving license.
- Bachelor’s degree in technical sciences or equivalent (or strong technical background and experience in lieu).
- Excellent business acumen and relationship-building skills.
- Technical expertise in hi-tech equipment (lasers, optoelectronics, photonics, medical is a plus).
- Great attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and a competitive mindset.
